Robin Christoforou

I have a varied interest in music, and in 1998 I joined City Radio, which broadcast from St. Albans City Hospital. Whilst at St. Albans City hospital I presented a programme featuring classical music.

Unfortunately in the year 2000 it was decided to close City Radio as the number of patients had been reduced and many of the patients were only admitted for a day or two.

Towards the end of 2000 along with a number of other members I transferred to Watford Hospital Radio. After joining WHR I did presented a Jazz programme for a while and have helped out on a number of occasions with fundraising and outside events.

In 2001 the Treasurer at that time was in the process of emigrating and therefore did not stand for re election, so I stood and was elected to the post of Treasurer and have been doing the job ever since.
